Dear Baby Pacheco,

My name is Laura, but you can call me Mom.

As I start this blog in April 2012, I am a 26 year-old financial auditor living and working in the DC area. But who knows where I’ll be when this is finished! In June 2009 I married my high school sweetheart and love of my life, Shane (you can call him Dad).

We were both born & raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Most of our family is still there. We moved to the DC area for better jobs and, in turn, a better life for you & our little family.

The purpose of this blog is to capture my journey into motherhood and give you a unique perspective on our life together, from planning & conception to belly bumps & lamaze classes, sleepless nights & diaper changes, tooth fairies & little league, and beyond. 🙂 I hope you enjoy reading this someday as much as I enjoy writing it.
